Is March Madness changing forever?

I think so.  The shocking first weekend upsets seem extinct.

The transfer portal has allowed so many teams from big time conferences to now buy players from other places.  That is why there were 14-SEC teams in the tourney.

The cream however has risen to the top, and alot of good teams have been sent packing home, rather than heading to the Final Four.

Duke looks so complete, so big, so athletic, so many clutch players, it’s not just Cooper Flagg against the world.

Florida has athletes and the escapee from St John’s Walter Clayton.  So explosive

Houston plays such fierce defense when they are not scoring lots of points.

Auburn might be a lone wolf team, triggered by Jhonie Broom, but no one has been able to put a lid on him.

Who is not there.  Arizona is gone despite the heroics of Caleb Love.

Some bad day at the office (2-12) shooting for Mark Sears as Alabama collapsed.

For all the the things Texas Tech showed in other games, they could not make it last in their Elite 8-outing.

Who c0uld project talent laden Tennesse scoring 15-points in a half and losing so badly?

And that doesn’t include St-Johns 28%-shooting day as they were torched into the off season.

For all Michigan was in chunks of time this season, they could not complete the mission either.

This had to be the most balanced season we have seen, all those teams taking turns getting ranked #1 during the winter.  And now alot of them have exited.

So it’s on to the Final Four.  Sure looks like Duke is the complete package, stars and supporting cast.  Cannot say that about the other three teams.
