All these wild stories breaking all around me.
Asking some basic questions about the stories crossing my desk.

PROFAR…What do you believe?  His career best season was fueled by steroids last year in San Diego?  He rigged 8-drug tests last year and played dirty?  He took an off season supplement that contained something he did not know was in them?  He cheated?

DODGERS…What would you do if you had the chance to go to the White House to be saluted for the World Series season you had last year, but had to stand with Donald Trump?

MAGA FANS..Why is it that Trump supporters have to shout me down, scream, be obscene when they sense I am talking politics that does not agree with their takes?  Did not know 1st amendment speech rights only pertain to the far right not the rest of us?

SHOWDOWN SERIES..It’s coming next week…the Dodgers play the Phillies in Philadelphia, so we find out who is elite in the National League?  Think there will be a few home runs flying out of Citizens Bank Park?

ROKI CRIES…He’s young, he’s struggling, the game is different, the ball is different, the mound height is different, so is the pitch clock, the culture, the language.  Don’t you think people need to back off on the criticism of Dodgers rookie Roki Sasaki?

HOW’D YOUR WEEK GO…Hard to understand Red Sox star Raf Devers start as a DH (0-19) with 15Ks out of the gate?  Cannot be the forced move off 3B to make room for Alex Bregman?  Or the loss of bat speed?

NFL RULES…Owners made changes but did not solve issues does it?  They approve a new overtime rule, both teams get the ball, but they do not extend the 10-minute OT rule.  So if the team that wins the coin toss and goes on an 8-minute drive and scores, the other team only gets 2-minutes to tie or win.  How is that fair?

BOOTH REPLAYS…The booth can expand its replay review to help the refs on the field.  If flags are thrown on a facemask hit, a crackback block, a hit on a defenseless player, a chop block, the replay booth can message the ref and pick up the flag.  But, if the replay shows an illegal QB hit, a facemask, a horse collar or a big sideline hit, that was not called, the refs cannot throw a flag even if they should have.  How does that make the game better?

THE NEXT QB MOVE…Waiting for decisions.  Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers, and Kirk Cousins to Cleveland?  The big questions, will Rodgers fit into Mike Tomlin’s drama free-style of coaching, and how in the world do the cap crisis Browns have the ability to take on Cousins massive Falcons salary?

COLLEGE HOOPS..What a year we had with the success at San Diego State and UCSD.  Now some real trauma because of the transfer portal.  How do the Aztecs replace Magoon Gwath, Nick Boyd and potentially Miles Byrd?  UCSD has lost its coach, 3-leading scorers to graduation, and virtually everyone else in the transfer portal-how do you overcome that?  And what is the future at USD, coming off a disastrous season, with 11-players in the transfer portal-how has this been allowed to happen?

NBA..Final weeks of the season.  Lakers are explosive and dangerous, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Austin Reaves.  That’s a big three you can win with.  Then there are the Clippers, with a starting five that can all score, led by Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Ivika Zubac.  Wouldn’t that be something to see the Lakers and Clippers, hitting on all cylinders, playing each other somewhere in the Western Conference playoffs?
