Padres…Sportico Business Website is reporting….Sheel Seidler-widow of owner Peter Seidler-has filed 91 page lawsuit against two brothers-Bob-Matt Seidler..charging they are trying to engineer a takeover of ownership of the Seidler Trust to take control and run the Padres franchise…Sheel Seidler also wrote a 5-paragraph letter to Season Ticket holders explaining what has been done…MLB ownership has yet to vote on installation of 3rd brother, John, to become the Control Person of the franchise…Sheel says the brothers have blocked her business involvement in the operation team…The brothers say she is not qualified to be the Point Person eventhough she owns 25-percent of the franchise.

Padres-Yankees..NY reports the Yankees are interested in 1B-2B-DH Luis Arraez in a deal for starting pitcher Clark Schmidt…The Padres are shopping Arraez and cannot afford his 14.6M-likely contract in arbitration.

Padres..MLB sources indicate the team is willing to offer Ha Seong-Kim-SS a 1-year plus option contract that could pay him 6M-and-9M over the next two years.

Padres..MLB sources say the Padres would be willing to offer OF-Jurickson Profar a (1Y-8M) deal, with a 2nd year option at 10M, but are not willing to offer a pay hike oif 15M a season.
