• Chargers-Raiders..Joint press conference today in Carson to announce purchase of 168-acre tract of land-plans to build 1.7B-NFL Stadium to be shared by both AFC-teams in Carson at the 405-Del Amo Boulevard junction..The team purchased the land from Starwood Capital Group, and will use PSL’s to fund the construction cost along with private financing…The Stadium would seat 68,000 and have 18,000-parking spaces..the NFL had looked at the sight previously for purchase..The NFL would contribute $400M-thru the G6-fund much like they did to co-finance the new Meadowlands Stadium for the Jets-Giants…The Chargers-Raiders say they will follow the protocol of NFL approval thru the Committee on LA…The move comes 30-days after Mayor Kevin Faulconer formed his Stadium Task Force.

• Mayor Kevin Faulconer visibly upset was informed before the Charges released the information to the LA Times…he said Dean Spanos is abandoning 50-years plus and generations of loyal Chargers fans…Spanos and Faulconer will meet on Tuesday.

• Mark Fabinai said the Chargers would spend 2015 working with the Task Force to determine if there was a way to build a Stadium in San Diego-but their hand was forced to look at LA market.
