  • Chargers-City…Controversy spills out into public….City-NFL team will meet on Monday afternoon…but Email leaks indicated serious divisive clashes have already developed…City Attorney Jan Goldsmith tried to undermine entire CSAG-Task Force-urging Mayor to scrap proposal before ever handed over to NFL-team-wanted negotiations to open 3-weeks before cost plan was finished…..Goldsmith also tried to muzzle CSAG officials from discussing plan and freeeze out media from access to plan….Mayor Kevin Faulconer refused to buckle saying voters needed to have City transparency…..Emails also show Chargers stone-walled multiple attempts by Mayor to set up meetings-upset that CSAG officials were so vocal in what their game plan was to finance stadium…Reports Chargers kept dragging responses to the city-while negotiation to line up financing and put Carson plan into effect…Sources say Mark Fabiani was dismissive of entire CSAG project…leaked E-mail information that alledged the city was trying to circle around Environmental impact laws….also indicated City cannot sell 75-acres of land without rezoning project…Email indicated there was 1-private meeting Dean Spanos-Fabiani-Mayor-Ron Roberts to set a timeline how to negotiate-that meeting was 11-days before CSAG released its proposal.
  • Chargers…Carmen Policy named Director of Carson Holdings LLC-firm that will control the Stadium land in Carson they are trying to develop.
