• A very unimpressive win against a horrible team.  Philip Rivers throws a TD pass on the 2nd snap of the game after a turnover, and then gets nothing done the rest of the day.  Rivers takes 2-bad sacks, 9-hits, injures his left knee, and right side ribs.  Report he has played with bruised ribs for a couple of weeks…RB-Ryan Mathews contributes (70R).  Punter Mike Scifres saves the day pinning the Raiders back inside their 12-yard line on 6-different punts.  Rivers winds up (193P-1TD).  The two teams combined (7-30) on third downs.  It is the Chargers fifth poor game in a row.  They are a most unimpressive (6-4) this season…Bolts scored 1TD last 8-quarters….Raiders (0-10)…lost (16-row)…lost 34-of-42  in last three seasons.

Chiefs-W-Seahawks (24-20)

• Bitter cold day becomes a day for running backs.  Jamal Charles (159R-2TD) for Kansas City.  Marshawn Lynch (124R) for Seahawks.  Chiefs defense held Seattle 3-different times on 4th down, including a stop at the 2-yard line…QB-Russell Wilson (178P-71R) but could not get them into end zone…Chiefs (7-3) tied with Broncos for lst place in AFC-West.

Rams-W-Broncos (22-7)

• St. Louis with brass knuckles defensive performance against Peyton Manning…2-picks-2-sacks-constant pressure…Rams held Broncos (4-12) on 3rd downs…Manning (389P-1TD)…Broncos had only (28R) from running backs….QB-Shaun Hill (220P)..RB-Trey Mason (113R)…Greg Zeurlein 5Field goals…Rams defense also stopped Broncos 2X on 4th downs.
