Chargers-Cincinnati…Tough assignment for banged up OL without DJ Fluker-Johnny Troutman….Bengals strong pass rush with Geno Atkins-Michael Johnson-Carlos Dunlop and blitz LB corps…..Chargers blitz package will go after Andy Dalton…..Melvin Gordon-Danny Woodhead look good in rotation plan.

Broncos-Chiefs…Peyton Manning struggled last week-only (59-QB Rating)…Denver unveiled impressive 6-man pass rush under Coordinator Wade Phillips….Chiefs got 3TDs in air form Alex Smith early-strong emphasis on throwing downfield….Defense choked off Houston run game and blitzed QBs too.

NEngland-Buffalo…Bills are going after Tom Brady this weekend with Bully Boy pass rush….Tyrod Taylor (195P) nice debut as starting QB for Bills…think they will have real challenge moving ball against athletic Patriots defense.

Seattle-Green Bay….Seahawks OL problems impacting Marshawn Lynch and protection of Russell Wilson….Gave up 6-sacks last week….Aaron Rodgers throwing to lots receivers…Veteran James Jones impact upon returning….Can Green Bay defense, lost of injuries, hold up vs Wilson? Seattle does not want to start (0-2).

Eagles-Cowboys….Now it really is Tony Romo against the world….Loss of WR-Dez Bryant devastating, compounded by lack of run game with DeMarco Murray gone as free agent….Sam Bradford looked amazing completing (20-of-22) at one point on road….Eagles play fast on both sides of ball now.

Tampa-New Orleans….Saints need a win after blowout loss last week…Drew Brees not getting much help on offense….Lack of pass rush and talent really evident for Saints defense….Really tough start for Jameis Winston (2-Int-2 Fum-4 QB-sacks)….Surprised how poorly Bucs defense was.

Detroit-Minnesota…Poor road efforts both teams a week ago….Lions cannot decide whether to run first then throw, or vice versa…How do you go 50-minutes and target Calvin Johnson just one time….Defense never got off the field last week…..Vikings seemed out-of-sync last week…Ted Bridgewater looked uncomfortable in pocket…Injuries to OL in camp showed up last week-didn’t run block for Adrian Peterson.

Arizona-Chicago…Carson Palmer came out throwing and Red defense played very well….Bears ran and ran and ran Matt Forte to prevent Jay Cutler form making mistakes-but didn’t put many points up…Long rebuilding job for John Fox.

Houston-Carolina…QB change already in just second week….Ryan Mallett takes over as starter for Texans…Don’t have much firepower…Do have lots of defense…Panthers need to find offensive tools to help Cam Newton…Great matchup vs JJ Watt and pass rush.

49ers-Pittsburgh….Some offensive showing and defensive personality in Coach Jim Tomsula debut….Now can they reproduce it on road vs Ben Roethlisberger….Steelers defense very poor last weekend-lots breakdowns in secondary….Could Niners go (2-0) and Steelers (0-2) out of gate?

Tennessee-Cleveland…Some coming out party for QB-Marcus Mariota in 4-TD passing debut….Looks like the real deal, though schedule is favorable early….WRs helping him make plays down field….Johnny Manziel throws TD early then falls apart….Disaster waiting to happen…More tape you gather on him, more mistakes he will make….He’s not even the dynamic of Doug Flutie.

Atlanta-Giants…Falcons flying high with offense under Matt Ryan, and Coach Dan Quinn debut with defense pretty impressive…Giants just a mess-poor outing with Eli Manning, not much offense and too many injuries.

Rams-Redskins…St. Louis been building thru the draft and was not intimidated last week when Seattle coming back…..Good test vs Redskins pass rush coming up….Washington struggling with offense-may have to rely more on RB-Alfred Morris….How good is Kirk Cousins at QB?

Ravens-Raiders…Not good start in Oakland with QB getting banged up…Bengals burned young defense….Joe Flacco not much help last week, but it is a long season…Need to find right WRs and sort out RB-rotation….Ravens defense misses people who departed.

Miami-Jacksonville…Took awhile but Dolphins finally got in in gear with Ryan Tannehill….Jaguars still short of skill people around Blake Bortels on offense.

Jets-Colts…Indy took some bashing last week….Jets will lineup and blitz, but Indy at home plays much better and will find its pass rush against Ryan Fitzpatrick…Injuries issues on back end hurt Jets.
