- Walk thru practice today…Head to San Francisco to play in new Levi Field-San Francisco on Sunday afternoon….Storylines…Keep an eye on battle at ILB-Reggie Walker vs Kavell Connor to see who merits more playing time in the wake of foot injury to Manti Te’o….Walker very active last year when Te’o went down-finished season with 3-QBX and 5-TL….Connor was former starter-stay at home LB-for the Colts….CB-Jason Verrett will play-but likely will not start….lst contact workout for Verrett now that he is fully recovered from labrum surgery….Young DB’s need to play better-Stevie Williams-Darrell Stuckey when called on in secondary….Chargers gave up 41P-and tons of yards last week in Seattle…How long will Colin Kaeperneck play at QB for Niners….Backup Blaine Gabbert, who has played poorly in preseason, will play alot for Niners…SD-RB-KR Brandon Oliver needs good outing bringing back kicks to get thru first roster cut…..Tuesday teams go from 90-to-75 in roster cuts.
