– Monday Night Football –

Buffalo-W-Jets (38-3)

  • The score pretty much sums up the Jets season.  The scoreboard likely means the end of Rex Ryan’s career as coach in the New York, and maybe too, John Idzek, the troubled General Manager.  QB-Kyle Orton threw for 230-yards and 2-scores.  Running back Anthony Dixon blocked a punt in the end zone for a touchdown, then broken off a 30-yard TD run later in the blowout game.  The Bill defense had 7-quarterback sacks and another 9-hits on the Jets QBs-Michael Vick and Geno Smith.  The Bills are (6-5) and still with an outside shot at a wildcard spot.  The Jets have no shot (2-9) and soon will have no coach and no GM either.

Ravens-W-Saints (34-27)

  • Baltimore sand blasts their way to victory over the faltering Saints…RB-Justin Forsett (182R-2TD) in best game of his pro career…QB-Joe Flacco (243P-TD)….Ravens defense 4-sacks of Drew Brees, 1-interception, and held Saints to (4-12) on third down conversions in their own building.  Ravens go to (7-4) and stay in tight battle for lst place in AFC-North….Saints drop 3-in a row at home, and are a stunningly bad (4-7), much of it becuase of their defense.
