“Wildcard Weekend Preview-NFL”

============

We are ready, the teams better be.

CHARGERS-JAGUARS:
..The stats between the two are almost even.  Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence are both north of 4,000-yards passing..both have 95-QB ratings…Lawrence has thrown only 8-picks this year and taken alot less sacks…Herbert has been sacked 38-times…Mike Williams has not practiced all week….He and Keenan Allen have combined for (129-catches)…the Jaguars duo of Christian Kirk-Zay Jones have (161) receptions…Jags tight end Evan Ingram has (73R)…The Bolts defense has given up (141YPG) rushing and is allowing (5.4YPC).  Travis Etienne is a horse running the football.  Austin Eckeler has 311-touches this season and over (1600) all purpose yards.
Key to the game-can Chargers hold up to Jaguars relentless toughness?  Which wide receiver group can create chunk plays?  Which offensive line can hold up to the pass rush?  The Bolts field goal kickers are a remarkable (31-of-33)-so getting points on any possession will be the key…Chargers won 4-of-5…but have just 1-win against teams with winning records..Jaguars have won 5 in a row and 6-of-7, and have wins over Cowboys-Ravens and Chargers.  Pick the Bolts to win.
———
49ERS-SEAHAWKS:
..San Francisco has 10-wins in a row.  The offense is averaging (365YPG) giving up just (300YPG).  The Niners defense has 44-sacks and 30-takeaways….QB-Brock Purdy has a fascinating (107) QB rating and Christian McCaffrey has (1880APY) running and receiving…The Seahawks went (3-5) the second half of the season and Geno Smith’s explosiveness tailed off, but rookie Kenneth Walker is a 1-thousand yard rusher now…Rain and wind and tons of SF defensive pressure is in the forecast on Saturday….San Fran can win
—————-
BILLS-MIAMI:
..Blowout likely without Tau at QB for Dolphins…have skidded badly-losing 5-of-6 to close the season…The Bills are averaging (397) giving up 319 and the Buffalo Mafia defense  has 40-sacks and allows just 37% on third down conversions…Josh Allen has (5,045Y)…Miami has no Tua and no chance…Bills bomb Fins.
—————–
VIKINGS-GIANTS:
..End of the run for the Blue, after that great start have won just 2-of final 8-games of the year…Vikings all offense (361YPG) but no defense (388YPG)…Magic season for Kirk Cousins in Minnesota’s new offense (4547-29TD) but in typical Cousins (17-turnovers-46 sacks)…WR-Justin Jefferson record (128) reception season…NY-QB-Daniel Jones has (3900) all purpose yards but is running for life alot…Minnesota will win big.
——————–
BENGALS-RAVENS
..Rematch of last week’s final game, likely same result.  No Lamar Jackson on Baltimore offense means the defense has to do it by themselves and how do you do that when the other QB is Joe Burrow (4473P-34TD-46%-conversion rate)…WRs J’Marr Chase-Tee Higings  combined (161-catches)…Yes Baltimore has 48-sacks and 25-takeaways but how does Baltimore move the ball….Cincy moves on.
——————–
TAMPA BAY-DALLAS:
..Mystery game.  Dak Prescott has really cooled off, has 23TDs but also 16-turnovers….But he does have the Boys defense, all 54-sacks and 33-takeaways…Tom Brady is a one man gang (4694-25TD) and he has Mike Evans-Chris Godwin who combined for (181R), but they have little else….Brady has thrown 733-passes and been sacked just 22-times, but he has to do it all himself…Cowboys dominate and Dallas wins.

No mention of the Bolts playing at a projected 30 degrees at kickoff? With Williams and Bosa at less than 100% the Jags have an edge. Plus, Staley is the ultimate wildcard with his SWAG (Simply Wild A$$ Guess) approach to analytics.
