“Aztecs Football–Nowhere to Go”

The final game of the regular season is Saturday night for San Diego State..on the road…against (9-1) BYU.

The Aztecs are (4-3), a season of disappointment, with no bowl game on the horizon.

They face a high octane Cougars offense, an even bigger challenge considering SDSU has been anemic at quarterback, having played 3-different starters this season.

San Jose State, Fresno State, Boise State, Nevada have all had strong seasons.  Hard to believe SDSU is the 5th best team in the league.  The losses to San Jose and Nevada killed them in the conference race.  The scheduling and non-conference loss at Colorado killed their bowl chances.

That and the pandemic which has seen 11-bowl games cancelled so far.

Coach Brady Hoke had lots to say about his QB-Jordan Brookshire’s game winning peformance last week against Colorado State, and about BYU.
