Here-There-Everywhere in NFL:

CHARGERS…First they get Kellen Moore as Off Coord…now they hire Doug Neussmeier as QB coach-both from the Dallas Cowboys.  Think about the challenge for QB-Justin Herbert, another new playbook, two new coaches again.  He went thru so much with coaching changes at Oregon, now an unsteady situation with the Chargers as he goes to his 4th year with the Bolts.

EAGLES…Passion play coach Nick Sirianni wept during the National Anthem before the Super Bowl, overwhelmed by his accomplishments as a head coach.  He coaches truly from the heart with a far different heart on his sleeve.

CHIEFS..Andy Reid, best play caller in the NFL with the best QB in the NFL. The Chiefs coach, an ‘Art Gallery’ of a Beautiful Mind.   End of discussion.

ARIZONA…Cardinals surprise hire of Jon Gannon, who had two good years as defensive coordinator with the Eagles.  The debate, didn’t they need a veteran head coach with offensive skills to take control of Kyler Murray’s up and down career?  Gannon has success on defense  but he inherits a team that did not have defensive success and also has as many as 38-free agents who could exit.

COLTS..Fast track Shane Steichen  named head coach after Indianapolia interviewed 15-candidates…He is wired just like Nick Sirianni, and did a great hands on job with the passing growth of Jalen Hurts.  But he does not have a quarterback in the building, has a beat up offensive line, a star running back coming off ankle surgery and a mess on defense.  And he works for Jim Irsay.  Only time will tell.

DEREK CARR…Now a free agent, leaving behind a messy 9-year stay with the Raiders.  History should write, good QB, impacted badly by unstable coaching, bad drafts, bad offensive line, bad free agent signings.  From the Jon Gruden era to Josh McDaniels, what an unstable situation.  Nice job by owner Mark Davis, continuing the downward spiral of the once proud team he took over as his dad passed away.  Carr could wind up with the Carolina Panthers, Washington Commanders, Tampa Bay Bucs.

AARON RODGERS…Has begun his week of mediation trying to decide whether to stay with the Packers or push for a trade.  Rumors everywhere the Jets are preparing a trade offer to take on Rodgers talent, big money contract, and his attitude.  Stay tuned on this.
