Angels…Family of deceased P-Tyler Skaggs has filed lawsuits in Texas and California charging negligence and wrongful death in the drug overdose case in the death of Skaggs in 2018…The suit names PR-Director Eric Kay-charged with dealing Oxycodone and Fentanyl that Skaggs ingested the night of his death…Kay goes on trial for drug distribution in August…The suit also names a former Club Executive and the team for retaining Kay as an employee when they knew he had been in and out of drug facilities for years and for not doing an intervention when they learned of the Kay-Skaggs relationship…The Angels called the lawsuits ‘irresponsible’ and said a Federal Prosecutor hired to do a probe, found the Angels had no knowledge of Skaggs addictions for his relationship to buy drugs from Kay.
