Chargers-JMI….Ready to release their Proposal for Initiative Vote for Downtown hybrid Stadium-Convention Center Annex…..The JMI-Chargers proposal, according to the UT, will ask the hoteliers to raise their hotel tax to an all time high 16.5%. The Stadium would cost 1M….the Chargers have upped their contribution to 350M in addition to the 300M from the NFL….the City and County would be asked to add their 350M to the package…..The Convention Center annex would cost 600M with the Hotel tax paying that amount…and an additional 200M for financing to buy land…..State officials believe the JMI proposal would need only a 50-plus-1 vote for approval…..JMI initiative is different than Cory Briggs inititative which has funding allocated only for Convention Center Annex….Reports Briggs will have to withdraw his plan if Chargers get 65,000-signatures.

Chargers..GM-Tom Tolesco confirms he has been approached by teams seeking to trade up to get the 3rd pick in the draft to take either QB-Jared Goff or Carson Wentz….Chargers would likely need 1st-2nd and 4th round pick to move out of the third slot.
