NBA…Lakers-contacted Mayor’s Office to inquire about opening facility on May 8th though city is in shutdown mode till at least May 15th…..Atlanta, Knicks, Brooklyn, Dallas say they are not prepared to open.

MLB…Commissioner Rob Manfred investigating logistics of “3-State Plan” to start up baseball…..Looking at using Texas..Arizona..Tampa Bay-Miami….as sights to start up season on June 1st….would play in empty stadiums for one month…have 10-teams in seclusion at each sight to play round robin schedule…with hopes of then moving games to home town parks on July 1st.

USA-Today…Reports Owners evaluating 3-State Plan…would dissolve American-National League for 1-season…would realign by geography…3-divisions-10 teams each….play first month in domed stadiums in Miami-Tampa-Texas-Houston-Arizona with hopes teams could move into own stadiums in July….Plan would allow teams to play as much as 100-games this season..and a full playoffs..Fans would not be allowed in games in June…Owners say Union must agree to players taking payouts…Plan would include 3-weeks of spring training…Major league rosters would report back to individual spring training camps in mid-May…then open season June 1st.
