NFL Matchups

Chargers-Carolina…San Diego’s offense can beat you thru the air and on the ground…Melvin Gordon has arrived as a complete back…the Chargers have enough weapons to win this game on offense…Cam Newton is having to do too much on his own…he is completing a dismal (42%) of his passes the last 3-weeks….Injuries have ravaged their offensive line-missing 4-starters….Secondary in leaky-never recovered from letting FA-Josh Norman goo…LB_Luke Kuehchly is back from concussion protocol….Defensive front is a disappointment…Team has gone from Super Bowl to (4-8) just like that..Bolts could win-but then you never know.

Raiders-Kansas City…Been a meatgrinder of a schedule at the end of the season for both…Chiefs very resourceful getting TDs from defense and special teams…and lots of Carlos Santos field goals…Raiders don’t dominate for four quarters, but Derek Carr does get them TDs late in games..Might be the last guy who kicks a field goal, Sebastian Janikowsk or Carlos Santos-win this game?

Broncos-Tennessee…Ambush in waiting in Nashville…Titans back in playoff race and they play well at home…Denver offense really MIA…Von Miller and Orange Crush defense will have to win this one because young QB-Trevor Siemian doesn’t seem able to put together 4-quarters in a row..Broncos could lose again.

Falcons-Rams..Atlanta in dog fight for lst place in division…but not much opposition here..Rams rookie QB-Jared Goff struggling with blitzes-reading defenses…Matt Ryan and offense too much firepower for LA defense…Jeff Fisher credibility problems with fans continue.

Cincinnati-Cleveland…Browns may start RGIII at quarterback but won’t make a difference..Cleveland cannot protect anyone..can’t run ball…not much defense…Andy Dalton struggling without AJ Green-but this is Cleveland, who will be (0-13) by Sunday night.

Vikings-Jaguars…Minnesota should win but playoff hopes seem dashed…Jaguars regressing..Gus Bradley likely to be fired…QB-Blake Bortels looks all out of sync.

Arizona-Miami….Dolphins look to bounce back after getting smoked by New England…Cardinals having very disappointing season…Bruce Arians not happy-not healthy either…Miami could win-should win-has to win at home.

Houston-Indianapolis…Texans paid alot of money for QB-Brock Osweiler and they are fading in the playoff race…Colts fighting for thier lives-though Andrew Luck had huge game, first game back from injury..3-way tie in AFC-South gets broken this weekend.

Redskins-Eagles…Kirk Cousins needs big passing game for Washington…Carson Wentz going thru confidence crisis with Philly losing 7-of-9.

Pittsburgh-Buffalo….Rex Ryan and defense laying in the snow drift to get Ben Roethlisberger-Le’Veon Bell-Antonio Brown…Wintry weather may make a difference…Steelers need win to stay with Baltimore in fight for lst place in AFC-North.

Chicago-Detroit…Lions coming of age under Coach Jim Caldwell…Bears just need to get to end of season with reports shakeup of coaching staff coming.

Jets-San Francisco…Ugliest game of season…Jets seem to have quit on coach Todd Bowles…49ers-worst quarterbacking this side of Cleveland…so much for Chip Kelly magic.

Saints-Tampa…Bucs really feel good about team with Jameis Winston maturing as quarterback..Tampa has won at Atlanta-Carolina-Kansas City and Sand Diego, and beaten Seattle too.

Seattle-Green Bay…Russell Wilson-vs-Aaron Rodgers…Neither team has anything else…but brual Winter Vortex weather may dominate storyline.

Dallas-Giants…Cowboys 11-game win streak…Dak Prescott-Ezekiel Elliot-Dez Bryant-Jason Witten vs pretty good New York defense…Eli Manning needs big day from receivers to stay in this game.

Ravens-New England…Tom Brady meet Baltimore’s #1-ranked defense…Joe Flacco playing mad bomber this year with big play Baltimore passing game…This could be a real upset in making at Gilette Stadium where Bill Belicheck hardly ever loses…could this weekend.”’
