Chargers

  • Coach Mike McCoy, under fire for not openly-honestly discussing injuries, defends handling of CB-Brandon Flowers head injury Sunday.  Flowers suffered blow to head on collision with Chiefs RB-Jamal Charles..came off the field on recommendation of NFL referee…examined on sidelines-showed no signs of concussion…came back on field for a couple of snaps-then left for locker room-never to return.  Was diagnosed with concussion while in locker room, not on sideline.

Atlanta

  • Falcons land in London for next weekend game at Wembley Stadium, reeling with (2-5) record and having lost 4-OL to injuries.

Buffalo

  • Searching for RB-help with loss of Fred Jackson-4W-groin and CJ Spiller-year-broken collarbone.
