Finally, a feel good moment for an SDSU football program that was down.
You wish Sean Lewis could ‘bottle’ the Saturday night win and re-issue it every weekend from this moment forward.
A shutout win over the Cal Golden Bears. A dominant Aztecs defensive night, 2-picks,a fumble recovery, 10-passes deflected, 5-sacks.
And a young QB-who went (15-for-18) and did not make many bad decisions.
Onto Northern Illinois next weekend before the Mountain West Conference schedule kicks into gear. A (2-1) non conference record and a chance to feel good.
Coming home (3-1) from DeKalb will be a sign the coaching staff has turned the corner, like he did at Kent State.

Another big body at line of scrimmage is important
Jayden Denegal-really efficient with football…will take strides down the field

Our WRs do more than catch the ball..blocking on edge helped last week

Not shocked when they beat Notre Dame-they play tough

They like to pound the rock-test it early-test if often on ground.
They played really good people-non conference-hung in there
Not afraid to play early afternoon game-we play anytime-anywhere
We use analytics alot to scheme a game-book to determine aggressiveness.
My personality-we cross the 50-we will be aggressive down-distance
The analytics is a new tool for us..find a level of comfort to use it
